Custom Group Travel Specialist ~ West Point Class Reunion

Sam has been traveling all of his adult life, first in a career that spanned 33 years in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Germany for 2 years, Hawaii (then a territory) for 3 years, and Saigon during the Vietnam war for 1 year. While there he was able to vsit most of the surrounding countries. In a later assignment Sam inspected USAF bases world-wide and claims to have flown on every one of PAN AM's Boing 747's. In his last assignment as Colonel and Commander of the Wright-Patterson Contracting Center, Sam had the opportunity to represent the Danish Government in negotiations with a Norwegian firm in Kongsberg.

After a 12 year second career with NASA Space Station/Shuttle contractor in Houston, TX and Greenbelt, MD Sam also negotiated contracts with the Japanese Space Agency. 

Sam retired and became a travel counselor specializing in group travel. 

Sam has lead many International groups, one just before he retired from NASA, a 23 day European trip touring 7 countries. Sam also has lead groups in the United States ~ by land or sea. This year Sam is the group leader for his West Point Class reunion.

Sam is a gradutate of the United States Military Academy, West Point; Stanford University, CA; and a distinguished graduate of the Air Command and Staff College as well as the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.

Sam lives in Houston, TX with his wife, Marsha. They have been married 46 years.
